		Marriages Need Help Christy posted her story at FireprooftheMovie.com: "I watched FIREPROOF this weekend, and I was blown away. I have been divorced for a year now, and I wonder if my ex-husband and I had watched FIREPROOF if the marriage could have been saved. This movie has taught me a lot about my relationship with the Lord and how I should continue to trust Him even when I don't know what is going on. 		Help for Your Marriage Ministry Early on, marriage ministries saw the potential for impact that FIREPROOF could have in helping people build God-centered marriages. Organizations like Smart Marriages—a coalition of marriage and family ministries—became early fans, helping get the word out about the film. Now, as part of the Smart Marriages Conference this year, there will be a free two-day Fireproof Institute seminar designed to "help churches launch and sustain powerful marriage- and family-strengthening programs." The Smart Marriages Conference runs from July 6-12, with the Fireproof Institute being held in Orlando on July 8 and July 12. In addition, there is a free screening of FIREPROOF on July 7, followed by a banquet featuring Dr. Gary Chapman. Then, on July 8, a luncheon featuring Stephen and Alex Kendrick is part of the program. There is a fee for both of the banquets (covering just the charge of the facility's food), as well as for the overall conference. You can, however register for the free Fireproof Institute without registering for the overall conference. So if your church is looking into building a strong marriage and family ministry, or if you are looking at ways to retool your existing ministry, this hands-on seminar is for you. Learn more here

		Churches Look to Movie Events for Help Churches around the country—and now around the world—are showing FIREPROOF through the site license program from Outreach. These Movie Events are a great way to encourage the people of your church while reaching out to the community outside your walls. Churches are finding the results highly encouraging. Julie Herron from First Baptist Church of Raytown (near Kansas City) writes: "Showing FIREPROOF at our church was an awesome experience. We had almost 1,500 people watch the movie together in our worship center. It was incredible!" Because the site license allows churches and ministries to host unlimited showings for a year, Julie's church plans to show the movie again, this time as an outreach to the deaf community.
