FIREPROOF Action Squad Examples
Here are some idea-starters for your Action Squad as you launch:

PARTNER: Have five churches partner to each purchase an opening weekend show time (approximately 200 tickets per church). Each church could own a weekend show time (one Friday, two or three on Saturday, one or two on Sunday).

INVITE: Encourage Action Squad members to buy a minimum of four tickets: two for a date with their spouse, and (at least) two to take friends.

SERVE: Have the members of your youth ministry set up a babysitting fun night to serve couples that want to see the movie. Charge a small per-child fee that can serve as a fundraiser for your youth ministry. Or host a "Taste of Sunday School" for your community. See Childcare Brigade for more ideas.

TEACH: Help build awareness for your Action Squad by having a weekend sermon series that touches on a topic everyone can benefit from: healthy marriages. Use short clips from the film to help illustrate everyday marital issues.

HONOR: Pay tribute to your local firefighters, EMTs, police officers, and military personnel by providing them with free tickets to the movie. Encourage people in your Action Squad to purchase tickets that can then be donated. Work with your local fire department chaplain to start building an ongoing relationship that pays honor to your local heroes. Provide childcare for the children of these everyday heroes.

GREAT DATE: If your church participates in 10 Great Dates or would like to launch this exciting ministry, FIREPROOF opening weekend is an ideal way to launch a new year of Great Dates. Purchase one or multiple show times to help couples see how marriage looks on the big screen.
